Railway Driving Simulators
Cassidian's program unit Simulation & Training provides driving simulators for high-speed trains, EMUs/DMUs, locomotives, metros, and wheeled vehicles (cars, busses and trucks). The driver training systems e.g. in service railway operators in Italy (Trenitalia), Germany (DB AG), Russia (RZD) and India. The product portfolio covers desktop to full-mission, motion-based simulators, providing close to real world realistic conditions and improving the quality of learning and practical experience for drivers and operators. The simulators are designed for professional training of highly qualified personnel in safety-critical operational tasks, while in addition achieving an optimization of the operating expense.
The driving simulators are optimized for exercising the practical content of training based on reproducible exercises in very realistically virtual training scenarios.
