Milan, 3 October 2019 - The ninth edition of EXPO Ferroviaria, Italy’s showcase for railway technologies, products and systems, closed at Rho Fiera Milano. The numbers confirm the importance of the event for the international railway industry, with many innovations in the sector presented.
The three day event in Milan had a turnout of 8,400 visitors including managers, executives and engineers. The participation of foreign visitors, coming from 64 countries and of delegations of railway operators from Brazil, Japan, Vietnam, Colombia, Chile, Thailand, USA and Australia once again highlighted the increasingly international spirit of the exhibition. The visit of the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Paola De Micheli on the first day confirmed the importance of rail transport in Italy.
